In a few weeks Paul and I have to decide if we are going to stay another year. Problem, Paul loves it and I’m one more misbehaved child away from hating it. Paul has promised 4 years of his life following me to grad school so I could spare a few for his Asian dream, right? I could pull the “don’t you love me enough not to make me suffer” card but 10 years from now that card turns into the “remember when I left Japan for you” card.
So instead of thinking about these problems I’ve resorted to nonstop TV watching and reading. New shows are Lost and Dexter. It’s been nice to start these shows way after they’ve started because I don’t have to wait for the new season.

I'm sorry, Devan. I'm sure the two of you will come to a united decision, like the one you did to get married...and whatever the two of you decide, it should never be brought up again as a remember when. That's not even fair in love and war.
....and on another note, I love your long detailed blogs. They're wonderful!
