I've had a few embarrassing moments in my life and I'll go ahead and say that four of my top five have taken place here. The latest incident, and I'm not quite over this one enough to find it funny yet, has really sent me into a spiral of despair.
This past Monday I accidentally grabbed my very serious, overly stern vice principle's manly part. The key holder for the key to my English room is placed awkwardly low next to the door in the teacher's room. While I was bent down putting the key away I reached, without looking, behind me to close the office door. Right then my VP was walking through that door to his desk...and yes my hand was ready to grab a door handle...use your imagination.
I don't think the whole incident would have been so bad if I hadn't reacted with, "HOLY CRAP! I'M SO SORRY!" At which point the rest of the room got involved. True to stern VP style he simply responded in perfect English with, "Don't you have a meeting down town to be going to?" Never mind that that meeting wasn't for another 3 hours...I didn't even stop to get my coat, just grabbed my keys and left.
It's been a hard couple of days trying to avoid him considering my desk is right in front of his. So I could be an "adult" and think about how these things happen. We all have bodies and it's nothing to be ashamed of. I just can't...that guy of all people...WWWWWHHHHYYYY!?

pwahhhhaaaahahahaha!!!! jon saiid, "Go Dev!! way to man handle your boss!!!" thought youd like to know that your bor-in-law is a perv, and insanely wrong all at the same time. as for me, i find it quite comical as well, but i can see where you will have to leave the country first. at least he didnt say anything out of line.
