Election Day was pretty funny at school today. Who knew that the Japanese were IN LOVE with Obama. On the white board I had put up some pictures of the two candidates, Bush, and the White House. First, when these kids walked into the classroom they immediately went nuts for the Obama pictures. I’m sure it was only because they recognized him but also there is a city in Japan named Obama. So after a short explanation about why this election was so historical we had question answer time. The most common question was “Why is this the first black president?” the next most common was “Who is going to win the erection?” No, I didn’t misspell that last word. Both questions prove difficult to answer for obvious reasons.

The local news reported last week that Oklahoma is now "the reddest of red states" and yet I feel like my vote couted too. Miss you, Devan!
